Well, as you probably know if you read my other 'art' blogs, I'm currently at University which on the one hand means lots of inspiration, quirky personalities just waiting to be sketched out onto paper and enshrined for all eternity, all new storylines to be developed and all pens to be found!

It also means that updating will be in huge chunks. I did try using one of the scanners available, but the results didn't quite do my slightly-more-improved style much justice so I've decided to just do a scan-dump on the occasions I get to go home and use my own scanner and the various tricks that come with it.

So, if anything, you might just get a series of random thoughts and written character sketches until that happens.

But yes, The Only Two is continuing, for some reason. I thought it would pretty much stop where it did, but so far not. Both Sara and Miriam are at different Universities so I can spread my wings a little and try out bigger plots with more characters and hopefully better drawings.

All in all, it sure smells like fun! Until then...

Just to reassure y'all that I am still alive and kicking. Unfortunately I don't have anything new (...yet!) on 'The Only Two' to prove it as so nor have I got round to inking in any of the new comic that I am working on to demonstrate my increasing levels of artistic skill and meaningful repartee.

Will be at the UK Webcomics thing tomorrow at the Queen Mary's campus with a friend of mine, John Anderson (publisher extraordinaire!), and mostly staying at his table, helping out. Who knows who I shall see there? Anyone? No one? Many-wiled Odysseus?

Adios, farewell!

Excuse experimentation with new 0.1 pen for linework. Practice makes perfect, I suppose.

So for now, it's goodbye from her and goodbye from her. Certainly is terms of plot, anyway.

I was a little careless with the inking, so there's not as much detail as I would normally include, nor is the linework particularly consistent. I figured I had to post something, though, and it's practically Caravaggio compared to the earlier strips. Ah, well.

I was thinking to myself the other day, how story driven The Only Two now is, as opposed to one girl ranting about something or other, and her friend raising a sarcastic eyebrow in reply. I'm sure I'll get back to the one-liners/amusing observations eventually, but for now, you will simply have to make do with some not particularly interesting plot.

For once, I can actually blame my server. This should have gone up yonks ago, which would've given me time to do the usual artist's 'gift' to her desperate readers, which usually consists of a New Year's themed comic strip. Knowing me, it'll be arriving sometime in June, so watch this space.
